But I don't understand why DRL's wouldn't include the rear lights too? The point of them is more visability during the daytime. Why not have all 4 lights on? I also have a 2003 Toyota 4 runner that has DRL's. Front only and they are yellow lights built in the bumper.
I guess since the US market doesn't really require them in the first place, there is no regulation here on what lights up.

The addition of the rear lights is new for BMW in the MY2008 cars. I know for a fact that the '08 3 series DRL are both the angeleye's and the rear lights. Along with the LCI of 5, well those who have DRL's activated. No bugs...just different.
