Just for Rudy (ha ha). Two days in and I am in love with the car .. having fun learning all the gadgets and as some of you have said the HUD rocks!
Left Rear tire punctured at end of day two (a screw) .. of course being a national holiday, the dealership had not registered me so BMW assist did not assist (really just guided me to look after myself), so we changed the tire. No change of tire till Tuesday (due Bank Holiday Monday) and no long highway driving for me (scream!).
I like very much iDrive, how beautifully smooth the engine is and just how comfy "comfort" seats and the ride are. The Platinum Grey with Natural Brown Interior is very nice too. although I can?t seem to capture a shot that clearly shows the interior colour so best for those interested should see in person at dealers.
Logic7 once turned on (via iDrive) sounds excellent although I can?t decide what is best concert or theater surround sound. Having a hoot getting the phone controls down pat, as I keep redialing in error and the voice prompt gets my accent confused. I will persevere ..
More updates later ? when I get the tire fixed and another day off from the salt mine!! Enjoy the pictures

Car looks great, congrats!
Damn BMW needs to get a retro-fit kit out NOW for the new LCI tail lights. I just can't take it anymore, I want them now.
