My car was upgraded to version CIP 19.1 The in-dash CD changer will not shut off. If you press the button next to the single CD player it will turn off the audio. However the in-dash changer continues to spin. You can drive along and see the tracks change in the I-drive screen and hear the changer switch to the next disc inside the glove box-the glove box does not conceal the noise of the changer operating. My service advisor said the tech said the button is a mute button!
Is this normal? Sounds weird to me. Whadda you think?

No. Be ready to see a dead battery soon. That what happened to me after I'd got the latest software installed. When I hear the CD spinning I take it out now. In my case it is more often the navi CD not music.
