There's no fued, trust me. It takes two to tango, and I'm really not interested in the back and forth with the other fellow today...too many other more important things to do with my time.

That being said, I've seen your posts and wondered if your name was somehow related to that "other" school in Kentucky...LOL. If your team can survive Vandy this weekend, you'll lock up a nice seed in the SEC tourney.

As for me, dont think for a minute that I bleed U of L red... I cant stand Pitino, despite being an alum of their law school.

I do bleed red.........HOOSIER RED, but that's a discussion for another post.

Funny I picked up an '03 330i as a daily driver last night and as I drove it home I said to myself, damn, i don't need the E60 anymore. Then I drove Blue today and I realized this is a special car. As fun as the E46 was to drive, this is as much fun to drive as well although they have different characteristics. I'm gonna have a lot of fun with these two cars

My Ride: 2004 545i / Orient Blue (I think) / Tan int / 116's Wheels / ... my favorite option, the HEATED steering wheel! Previous cars retired: 2006 Corvette Z51, 2002 Corvette Coupe, 2002 Mustang, 1997 Maxima, 1994 Camry, 1990 Supra None, and I mean none compare to this 545i. The 06 Corvette was faster, but not by much...

Me too! I just got a 545 and love it.

Glad you posted that Dinan info, I went there and they have a bunch of authorized dealers by me. LET THE MODS BEGIN!!!

I'm curious to explore more of the Dinan options too. The cost vs. HP gain is an interesting consideration....

Ya, and remember to do as much as you can at one time. On my vettes, anytime you change something hp related, you "should" have it retuned for maximum benefit, so if you do an intake, retune, then a few months later want another mod like a chip or an exhaust, you'll need a retune again.

Try to do all your mods once, then tune and wait a year or so, then you'll get max bang for the buck.

I was also interested in the pricing, seems like everywhere you look, the pricing is about the same. expect about $ 100.00 per 1 hp for aftermarket. Looks like those exhaust systems coupled with the air intake and a few "stages" which sound like special tunes with chips, etc. My 545 says 320 as the hp at the crank, if I could get up close to 400 at the crank I think that would be perfect... Somewhere under 5 seconds for the 0-60 time.

That's the best part about this car over the S4, Benz and Infinity... The kick in the pants torque~~!

Also, look on the dealer part, I found four dealers who are Dinan reps here in Chicago, bet there are a few by you!
