down South they just say "coke."
When I lived in the south, my recollection is that I was offered "Co-Cola" as a refreshment. In 6-ounce bottles. Along with boiled peanuts. Yuck.

Went to Taco Bell - a large coke (ok they sell pepsi, but whatever) -fit in the cup holders and seemed tiight, but I drove with one hand on the steering wheel, one hand to shift, and one hand on the coke. Need to get smalls or I see pop all over my interior.

No Problem!
Euro Car --Euro Cup (This one's from Sweden)
Now just get rid of all your cups and replace with these.
It might be easier than getting BMW to make a holder that meets U.S. specs

Anyone have pics on the 'improved' cupholder vs. the original one? I want to see which one I currently have?

Thanks!

The phrase "pop" is a Midwestern US thing ... "soda" is from the Northeast ... and down South they just say "coke."

Wait, so if I'm in the South and I order "Coke", they might give me Sprite?
LOL
Not if they have coke. But, if they don't, then watch out.

Guys, it is not that bad in the south... OK it is
One day I'll get out of here

Ive found in the UK that they hold a mcdonalds coke drink absolutely perfectly (large or medium) and a can is ok as long as you drink it to about halfway or less otherwise cornering becomes a constant 'i hope it doesnt tip' worry.

Interesting discussion re: pop.

We say pop too, but only if you are in the North of England, or Scotland.

Can't speak for the Southern softies, don't think they say pop
