Looking for input from others who may have experienced this problem too:

My 07 530i has started making a "creaking" noise during low speed turns. Sounds like it's coming from the front driver's side wheel area - maybe suspension or steering related? Seems to be more pronounced when turning in/out of driveways and parking lots. It's not brake squeal (which I have too) - it's a completely different sound.

I took it to the dealer, they were unable to reproduce the noise as it's intermittent. But they went ahead and applied the Teflon tape all around for the door seal bulletin - this didn't solve the problem.

Any inputs or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Have them check the lower wishbone and/or the steering ball joint.

Thanks guys, I'll ask them to check that next time I'm in for service.
