I don't know him, I've been on this board since 06 but haven't logged on much of late. Is that for a new set?

I think he meant to say Garry, as in Garry Romani of Newport BMW and the 25% discount he gives to E60.net members! ![Cool](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)

i had AC type IV racing replicas and they were very light when compared to my Breytons, but wobbled everywhere,
but Pingy our HK E60 Capitan has the same but better made and no probs.....

Dump the replicas, get OEM rims from Garry.
I just may. They are light asd I noticed once tire was removed from latest fiasco. I'd hate to dump them on anyone else, but 3 of the 4 are good now with 2 of them having brand new tires, the 4th if I get it fixed for myself or to sell will need a new tire. UGH!!!!!!! This is so frustrating. I feel like I have to fix it just to sell it and if I'm going to fix it should I keep them and risk another incident or pony up the cash for a new set from Garry but run the risk of same thing happening again??

Cut your losses, don't resell them if you fear they would put someone else's life in danger. Just remember in the future that your car is only as good as the rims and tires it drives on.

About two years ago, I bought M5 replica wheels for my 06 530i online. I equipped them with quality tires, etc and I do live in NYC now and we all know what the streets are like here, but I've experienced not 1, not 2, but 3 seperate cracked wheels.

Did I say something about non OEM wheels...

It's so much cheaper - in the long run - to buy OEM.

Wish I had heard that beforehand, now it seems like it's too late. The money is not the issue, well you know what I mean to say, my concern is having to go through this all over again with OEM M5 wheels and then they split, etc.
One other question, can I take the new tires (literally less than 25 miles) off my replica's and have them mounted on OEM's if I buy them?

Anyone have any luck with OEM M5's off Ebay? Or aftermarket quality wheels from Ebay?
