ok I’ll be going back to it shortly had to run out quick. I didn’t get any prompts about running scripts I don’t think though I’ll have to double check. I know I could click the chassis and then at the very top where it has a version number I believe, I left that highlighted. I know I could chose different modules and stuff though.

Yes. One is for the old protocol and the other the newer. The 2 circles should be black if it's connected correctly. You'll know if the switch is correct if you selections actually pull up anything. AIF is at the bottom row of options

So I did manage to run some kind of diagnostic on the CCC and was able to do a button test. Now may be silly cause I’m not exactly sure what it should do. When I turned the volume knob up the number increased BUT only into the negative. Now if I had to guess, shouldn’t it go into the positive if it tested correctly? Is there any chance the faceplate could be faulty for that particular signal even though all the other buttons tested OK?
I also did the system check or however it’s referenced on INPA, but it also said that the unit was OK and when I did the same for the BT, sat, and MOST signals as well. I’ve heard of some faceplates causing the reboot cycle, but after reflowing mine and it turns on everytime now I’m wondering. Could this be?
