and yes, it’s in the trunk on the left.
Someone definitely had an amp and sub installed cause they tapped speaker inputs and the white/violet line for remote. I’ve also considered this to be potentially an issue. You can see the blue tap connectors in the photo.

It will work if the USB port is configured correctly for it. If you didn't go into device manager to configure it then you'd need to do that to get it to work.
Did you put the MOST loop into the TCU that's at the top of the picture. If not I would try that. Those usually are the first modules that die on the MOST network.

Is the Bluetooth working? Are you getting the gong sound for the key and or seat belt? I feel at this point it is a coding issue. The greyed out options are saying something was replaced and not coded. If it's not coded or programmed correctly then you wouldn't have sound not saying that's the only thing that would prevent sound but that's what we are presented with at this time.

Ok so that means your amp is working if you have gongs. Just get BMW software tools installed so you can see what's going on with it.

You need to read out the modules. Connect the car and open up INPA. Select E60> then funcional jobs > then AIF. Post full screenshot

Ok you should be able to hit ok on language error and no on the running script prompts. With that error you should be able to get to the AIF and other things
