I have had three windshields replaced at the same retailer for abouit $800. I have HUD and the only issue was the first replacement they did not use a BMW HUD windshield and the HUD image was like double vision. They replaced it with a BMW windshield and HUD works great. Rain sensor works fine too.

Is it some kind of anti-glare coating? If so, can you damage it easily (by cleaning etc.)
