They also have a Bumper Repair

Bumper scuffs scrapes and gouges restored to factory finish. Expert color matching for the most discerning customer.

The advertisements I have seen at the local car wash for this service is $250.00/bumper.

Good luck!

Where are they located at? Do they go to our home to repair dings?

Hello soc_fans,

I belive they are out of Concord and yes they will come to your home for dings (I have used for their rim repair and was very pleased....wife did a curb rash number ) . However for dings I only use Joe from Dent Pro (925) 766-5720....he is excellent.

I am not surprised at the least with how you are being treated by BMW of Manhattan. Everyone I know that has used them for purchasing/service always complain about not only the lack of service, but the rudeness and unwillingness of their employees to assist in these types of situations. $1700 for those kind of repairs are obscene!! I had to get my front and rear bumpers smoothed out and painted on my M3 after years of parking in NYC garages where the attendents seem to just ram the cars into each other when parking them. I also had a 14 inch scratch running along the door to the rear quarter that was deep wnough to actually create a crease. I had that smoothed out and painted before I turned my car back in as well...For all of these repairs it came to a total of $1100. It was done by a bodyshop in Valley Stream, NY(L.I). I can find their # for you if you'd like.

Also, BMW of Manhattan just opened a 'satellite' dealership next to my office on Wall St. I went in there to price a lease on an M5 on two separate occasions. I was quoted 2 completely different prices - one being more than $500/month more than the other quote given by a different salesperson at the same location. Unbelievable!

I had a new rear bumper last year at a bodyshop in PA, which was ~ $1,000 with painting and labor.

Hi. Was hoping to get insights from the board. I had my car in to the dealer to install a cradle and wood trim. In the process my front and rear bumpers were damaged. The front has a spot by the right wheel well were the paint was rubbed off and the rear has two spots where it made contact with another car's license plate nuts. Dealer has offered to repair at their cost (i.e.. I pay their cost to fix it...no typical dealer markup). I asked for an estimate and they quoted me $1700! Ouch! Seems to me that this is a bit steep for what is essentially buffing and painting. Has anyone here had scratches on their bumpers repaired and at what cost? I'm starting to lose my patience with this dealer and may need to pursue legal action etc. to get some results.

They did it so they have to do it for FREE 100%

Costs a lot - if you get the M-Tech bumper.

A couple of months ago, my dealer put a sizable scratch on my rear driver side fender, which I didn't notice until I took the car home. They gave me -0- hassles in terms of accepting the blame, and had it fixed within a couple of weeks. They didn't have any loaners, though, and I was stuck driving a Toyota Camry rental for a few days.

Hope it works out for you.

I had fairly significant damage to my rear bumper. The paint was scraped off in one spot and there was a 6 inch vertical gouge/scrape/indentation where I backed into a concrete pillar. The Dent-Pro person at the BMW dealer repaired it for $450 in one day while it was in for minor service. I don't know how they did it, but it looks as good as new. There is no sign of any work or damage.
