Anybody know if SPORT MODE produces more fuel consumption then NORMAL MODE of driving? Since we have got throttle much more responsive that could be logical. Anyone have a real proof?

I noticed my central gear lever (SMG) in D position has small gap or it's possible to move it (no action) front-back for about 1 millimeter. Anyone noticed that? It's like there is a small screw inside which can be tighten a bit. That annoys me kind a way.

I don't have proof, but it has a higher consumption in DS.

While accelerating, stop and go yes... because sport mode will make it accelerate faster, hence giving it more gas to accelerate to the speed you want.

BUT if you're cruising at 65mph at 2500 rpms in 6th gear wether in DS or D I think the fuel consumption should be the same, I dont see how it would affect cruising.

Umm not really... I basically find it pretty stiff... not loose in any way. If you exaggerate it a bit it I can "say" theres a gap too but for me on mine I think its pretty tight for normal spec.
