Thanks for all the replies.
I always wear my belt. I've handled too many cases where my clients were unrestrained, and the results aint pretty.
But, my law partner feels otherwise. And, since its a free world, I dont feel its my job to tell him whether to wear it or not.
Now, as far as eating and smoking in my car - I have no problem voicing my opinions....LOL.

PS - funny post, AlwynMike

I simply asked a technical question about the warning. I dont recall asking to be updated on advisability of seatbelts.

Like I said, I wear my seatbelt. But I also respect someone else's right to make that decisions themselves.

I think the spare buckle is the best for your case.
Maybe she starts wearing the seatbelt if you start pluggin' the buckle everytime she takes the passenegr seta...

I am a believer in seatbelt. I walked away with minor bruises when my pickup rolled twice near Yosemite National Park.

Now, if they want to smoke, which would affect my health (not to mention my car), then I'm kicking ass and barking out orders!
As for my vocation, I'm in litigation, with a concentration in medical malpractice.
What do you do, by chance?
