[/quote]Yup thats it the key fob slot in the car will need to used to charge the batteries in the key fob and the metal KEY is there in case of battery failure or if you want to roll up your windows from the outside of the car. (US)

Can't you just press and hold the lock button if you want to roll up your windows from outside?
