Comfort Access / Keyless entry security flaw?

The worst is sitting in the car, pressing the start button and nothing. I re-arrange my pocket a little and it starts up. No rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes the door locking and unlocking is spotty. How the hell did Toyota get flawless comfort access operation working and BMW can't seem to get better than 60-70% of the time.

If that doesn't help solve your problem there may be a problem with one of the CA antennas.

Sorry about your frustration - but I never had that problem. Sometimes I'd have to position myself to lock the doors, but starting the car with the key in anywhere inside the cabin works every time. The idrive also warns you if the fob battery gets low.
