My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i

I have a 2005 545i with 80k. Since I bought the car in Feb I have noticed that the climate control will turn on by itself. Typically when I have all 4 windows down on the freeway. I checked my iDrive settings and unless I overlooked something it seems like my settings are fine.
Any input?

This is normal. Might as well get used to it. At least you can turn off the snow flake so as not to run the Air Con compressor, and you can turn the fan speed all the way to the left so that it is at minimum. You might as well turn the Temp dials all the way to the left (full cold, 62 degrees, I think) so that you are getting pure fresh air.
