Default Clicking noise when driving

Hello,

When I am driving my car, there is a clicking noise from the front right (driver) tyre side.

It's like a clicking noise not clanking and this doesn't happen all the time - only sometimes.

Also when this noise is happening the faster I go the more frequent and louder it gets.

It's a 53 plate 520i - on original alloys it came with - think their 15 or 16". Tyre width is 225 all around and think 55/60 height.

Does the noise increase during right/left turns?
One [or both] front wheel bearing(s) may need to be replaced.

Default Clicking noise over 30mph and increasing with speed

I have encountered a similar noise. I'm kind of lost on diagnosing it. The sound starts out between 30-40 mph, then increases with speed. It sounds mostly like a plastic on plastic sound, a lot like sticking a hard plastic straw end (like a zip tie) into a fan blade. It does not happen at idle. It sometimes disappears, but seems to come back quickly, in a few minutes. it does not happen under 30mph It is not a heavy sound. It might be coming from behind the dash, but I don't know why it would increase with speed. It might be coming from car center, center-right or right wheel arch

Have you checked around your windshield. That sounds going to be hard to diagnose but seems that wind is causing it

Here's my wild ass guess:

This plastic sound happens when you are at high speeds.

The plastic under the car is loose or cracked. Its flapping in the wind. I'm referring to all the plastic covers under the car.

There is even a small, black, plastic cover on top of the upper control arm bushing.
