4 coats of Zaino (3 Z2's, and one Z5), several layers of Z6's and Z8's. In addition, about 1,200 miles in less than 2 weeks.

I park as far away from the mainstream as possible. It's a bit of a walk, and pisses my wife off to no end. However. after more than a year, not a single ding.
That's saying something since you are from Boston

I wasn't going to tell my story from New Year's Eve...but since you asked I pulled out of a parking spot and didn't see a car coming behind... I'll leave the rest for your imagination. All I can say is that I already paid for his damage and mine is not fixed yet. I need to order new reflectors for my car (or I should say a single reflector)
And no guys I wasn't drunk...just not paying too much attention. Oh well, this is my second time damaging my car and trust me on this one, second time is not as bad as the first time
Here is the best part: the guy was driving a brand new purple Chevy Cobalt (or whatever the name is) probably cost 10K new. he acted like it was an Aston Martin or something like that I kept apologizing and the guy kept going on about his new car and the damage, which was a little scratch. The police showed up and couldn't give him a report because it happened on private property. He kept requesting a police report and wouldn't stop about it even though I gave him all my info including my business card, insurance card, DL and a vouch from the officers that I was good for it (happened to be my Ex Fiance who showed up).
It ended with me going to the Chevy dealer on Tuesday morning to pay $350.00 for his damage. What a way to end up the year...

heard about this on a radio station..

one thing for sure i dont take my car to the mall...if i have to... i would park sooo far...that all you see is empty spaces and then my car. we dont have protection for dings its inevitable but your solution would be the paintless dent removal...usually one price per panel up tp 3-6 dings... check it out...ericd

Sorry to hear about your accident. Fortunately, it didn't cost you an arm and a leg to get his car repaired. Happy and a safe New Year!

My car was parked during the whole new year thing, cuz I wasn't around to drive it! But I came back, and for no reason, my spoiler decided that it'll come apart the next day I get back. I only noticed it when I was driving like 180 km/h to pick up my girlfriend from the airport, and saw one side of my spoiler hanging in the air. Stopped the car, tapped it, embarrassed myself, and went on my way. Now its fixed, but its not as perfect as before, they had to remove both sides, which caused come scartches on the trunk, and when they put it back, they couldn't remove all the old silicone glue, so now some of that is showing, its just not as nice as before. But thats my gift from my car for the new year, and imperfect trunk, which I will not look at till I get it repainted and spoiler completely removed.
