m sport pack and nav the basic alcantara is good enough but for the looks and to get you palces has be the these two options

My Ride: 2006 520d M-Sport / Silver Grey / Maple Wood / Black Dakota Leather / Heated Comfort Seats / Media Pack With Extended Voice Control / Space Saver Spare Wheel / Sun Protection Glass
Two options? Easy. M-Sport and Comfort seats. That said, I would want to change the dash material in the M-Sport as I don't like that particular aluminium effect. Most of the other options are nice to have, but only the Bluetooth hands free is really important, the basic spec of a 5er is pretty good to begin with.

Leather and Automatic (Without them you will ind it difficult to sell the car)
If however Automatic is a given (ie. you'd get it anyway) then my two options would be leather & Sports pack.
Third choice
would be the Media pack (Sat Nav, Bluetooth, CD changer and Voice control).
