Damn. Sorry to hear that. Try John at Motorcepts. I'm sure his prices are more affordable than the stealerships.

Okay guys so I finally got around to stopping by Motorcepts once John got back from vaca and got the new M-ask unit coded as well as some other goodies. Now the unit works fine except there's no bass. John probably said it was something with the connections at the back of the unit so I took it apart three times, triple checked, all wires seem to be fine as it was simply just unplugging the old mask unit and plugging in the new unit and still no bass. I need help! U guys have no idea how bad the radio sounds with no bass. Btw I have an aftermarket amp pushing all the of the speakers except for the two underseat woofers, those are still powered by the factory radio. Is there a fuse on the factory amp that possibly blew? Any input appreciated

If putting a new unit in the car you will have to program it and encode it. PM me.

The problem is with the black plug at the back of the unit. Did you try to add auxillary or anything? This is a common mistake among people. The black plug with all the wires needs to stay in at all times and if you use an auxillary kit you're going to have to remove the wires from that kit throw the plug away and insert them in your current plug. I think it's X18313 plug or something like that.

No didn't try to add auxiliary or anything like that simply just replaced a working mask unit with a non working mask unit. All plug and play and I got it coded to work. Works fine except there the subs under the seat aren't working. Those subs are connected to the factory amp while all the other interior speakers are connected to an aftermarket amp. This is the exact way it was with the old mask unit and the subs and the rest of the speakers were working fine
