For reasons too weird to actually mention i need to retrofit my pre-lci to lci center console.Just the console.
I know that the lci console does not have the ashtray & 12v source anymore; they've been moved instead below the dvd/cd slot.

Question: if i buy a lci center console and the lci bit that goes below the cd slot -and has the 12v volt source- would i be
set to go or will i get mentally insane by realizing the myriads other-things-you-need-to-do-before-this-works-because-this-is-BMW ?

Any info/views ?

Thanks

you should be able to route the connectors of the cig lighter to the new location...

look at the CIC retrofit in the DIY section for tips I guess..
