Is the CCC the same as the ECU?? Mine is also on backorder because something wouldn't re-program, however everything seems to be working fine on the car as far as I can tell.

Maybe If the CCC & ECU are the same thing my new CCC will be bluetooth compatible since I have a 1/04 build 545i, and am pissed that there is no bluetooth solution in sight.

Any thoughts?

CCC and bluetooth TCU are two different components. BMW is suppose to come up with a TCU and wiring harness retrofit kit in the future for model built before March 04. I'm sure parts + labor will be very costly.

Check your Bluetooth passkey card in the glove compartment. If you have 84 11 6 948 921 or later, you have the right TCU.

 

[Mine seems to have an older part number. Looks like I am screwed.

 

Don't feel bad. I told my dealer specificly that I wanted my car built after Mar 2004. My European Delivery date was April 5, 2004. Normally, the car is produced less than 4 weeks before the pickup date. It turns out the car was built on February 27, 2004 due to the poor sales in 1st quarter of 2004. In order to keep the production line busy, my car was built earlier than normal.
