It’s just frustrating really badly… all I know is they replaced everything to do with the CCV system. I would’ve thought they would check the DISA valves if they were anything to do with it. I took one DISA valve out when the car wasn’t on and it was fully open. I don’t know /:

Understandably so. They are still guessing at it... on your dime even. Did they ever do a smoke test?

I can ask, but they never mentioned anything about doing a smoke test.. which I assume can be very affective to find where it’s coming from. Do you know if throttle is supposed to be completely closed with no power on it? Car must be possessed?

Is it still exhibiting the initial failure mode, or something different?

If throttle is closed then there's no air getting to the engine starving it. So you're not getting power to the throttle body?

I have replaced but no different. I am getting really angry with all this. BMW are useless and I will go talk to them basically misdiagnosing and talking shit. I don’t get what could be the problem. They did change all the PCV lines etc. I don’t know.. I hate it.

I know this may seem unfathomable, but they clearly do not know what they are doing. Either that, or they're intentionally fleecing you.

So is your car still shaking only at startup, or has that issue since been resolved, and now you have a completely different problem at hand?
