Hello.
So last april, my car was keyed.. big boohoo. Insurance covered. New paint job at the Fremont BMW recommended "EMC Collision" was $10,000. Flash forward today, keyed again. No apparent reason and not even at my house. Damage is less (4 doors and one rear quarter). Deciding not to go the insurance route and pay out of pocket.
Anyone know any good body shops in the Bay Area that are reasonable and reputable? Any idea of cost? I know all 4 doors.. and the rear quarter kind of wraps towards the front.
If you REALLY want pictures... I can get them.. but it's kinda gross (Its a Jet Black BMW)

wow man
pretty fvcked up people out there.. i think it's gonna be too expensive to go out of pocket. insurance might be a good idea. 4 doors means practically the whole car (not really but still) ![Nono](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/nono.gif)
good luck

Yes, I know it will be expensive.. but after almost 25,000 in insurance claims last year alone, I don't think it needs to be any higher.

That really sucks to see that happen within short period of time after you just got it repainted. Maybe r9andy can chime in on bodyshops around bayarea or Eurocarfan (Tony). Hope everything works out for you.

Repainting the whole car doesn't cost $10k, the bodyshop raped your insurance company!!! For that much dough, you can repaint the whole car AND do a whole body-wrap in custom vinyl (matte black, gray, or white even). There are some reputable shops here in SoCal and a forum vendor who will do the wrap for ~$2500.
