I've experienced vandalism before on my previous cars so I am anal about where I park, I get paranoid when I go out somewhere and leave my car parked in the lot.
All of this makes my life less enjoyable constantly wondering if someone is messing with my car.
I realize even if I happen to park away from the crowd to avoid door dings, its still a disadvantage because now your car is out in the open and stands out.
I do some times say to myself its just a car and it can be repaired, but the fact that I have not been able to succesfully own a new car without having some idiot either carelessly hit my car, some clown key my car, or a low life bust up my window makes me feel ill. I'm hoping the car I have now ( just got it yesterday ) will last at least 3 years before anything happens to it.

Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

That's just wrong. Never understand why some people feel the need to vandalize others properties. I guess there are a-holes everywhere. Sorry to hear that happened to you.

Hey sorry to hear about your car.
These things happen and are a part of life...all you can do is try to find a way to not get too down about it.
One very positive note is this didn't happen at your home or work, so you can be confident about it not happening again (hopefully) and that these punks didn't target your personal space.
Worse things do happen, stay cool and try to move on.
Does insurance cover it?

Can't freaking believe that. Its sad how people are really. There are places I don't go or sides of town I don't go on because something like this would happen. I don't even like having my car parked at the movies, I think about what could be happening to it as I watch it.

I know its a terrible thing to say but..........
What sort of shape is the rest of your paintwork in ??
Would be "terrible" if someone came and scratched every other panel on the car down to the metal, I pray for you that doesn't happen "OF COURSE"
