i noticed my car doesnt handle as well as i thought it would. it is all over the place on corners and with DSC deactivated i need to put my skills to the test. can this be blamed soley on the run flats? will changing them out make a huge difference?

i drive very well, thankyou sir.

i am hoping to get opinions of people who went from RFs to good tires and what their experience are. i am just suprised how easily the car breaks loose on corners at relatively low speeds

I blame the driver. Craig is pretty much horrible at everything. =)

Start with checking your tire pressure...... you never know, may as well manually check it. Then you could consider replacing the run flats.

Runflats are terrible, and so expensive to replace. Get rid of them ASAP.

The run flats get my vote. I thought my car was unsafe with the run flats. Tramlined terribly, yanked itself into other lanes on the highway. With Michelin Pilots it?s great. Honestly I would have not kept the car if the regular tires didn't correct the handling.

I like my car a ton but to this day I can't believe BMW sold my car for $65K +/- with those tires.

The size of the E60 tires also seems to be a detriment, the larger the tire the worse the impact of the run flat technology. Some of the 3 series with smaller size run flats seem to work better.
