Can't set date and time

Hi all!
I need to set the date and time of my relative's US spec 2007 550i but I can't seem to find the Settings tab. The manual said to push down on the knob at the Main Menu to get to the i menu. When I do, I do not see the screen with the tabs (where Settings is one of the tabs) as described in the manual. What I get is a list starting with an option to turn off display (which is unchecked), display settings, navigation settings, etc. NO date and time setting. Help!
