Can turbo mode (transmission) be used on the FWY?

Just wondering if you need some extra power on the freeway, what is the speed limit in turbo mode? Is it good up to 80mph? Will it mess up anything? Thanks.
Just in case turbo isnt the word, its when you put the automatic shifter to the left.

It's a CPO 2004 525 (kept in excellent condition). Man, I thought it would wear the transmission down or something using sport mode all the time, I hardly use it 
. Guess whos driving to work tommorrow in sports mode?

I thought I had read some post that said that when your in turbo mode it only goes up to 5th gear or something like that.
In DS mode the transmission will only upshift automatically to 5th. but you can manually pull the lever to force it into 6th.
