Default Can High Battery Drain be Related to Bluetooth Module?

I have had a high battery drain issue the past few weeks and I am trying to find the root cause. I have a new battery and 14.1 volts at the battery with the car running, 12.6 volts 15 minutes after turning off the car, and 11.6 to 11.8 volts after the car sits 12 hours overnight. With the IBS unplugged, the high battery drain message goes away but I still have discharge overnight.

I noticed an issue in the vehicle Communication Settings with bluetooth. I navigate to the bluetooth screen but it will not turn on (the check box remains empty even when trying to check it).

I assume this means the bluetooth module or TCU is bad. Anyone have experience with this? Could this cause battery drain? Where is the TCU located?

Many Thanks!!

If the TCU is bad that could be the cause of your battery drain. The TCU is located under the trim on the driver side of the trunk. If your radio is still working then your Bluetooth is not dead but it could still be bad.

The problem is if you unplug the TCU to see if that is the problem then anything else on the most bus won't work (CD, radio, etc) so you can't really tell which is the problem. If you can get this part 61136931507 you will be able to unplug the TCU and keep the most ring complete to see if your drain goes away. If your drain does go away I would try reprogramming the TCU before tossing it.
