Going to be soon doing a sort of walk through / DIY for the a/c compressor removal but before I started I wanted to inquire if coolant drainage was absolutely necessary or if It could be avoided. The space for the ac lines seems limited but maybe doable by loosening the expansion tank without dumping coolant. If any interest I will be posting pics and detailing my every move with forums.
