bring CCC back to life through progman?
My Idrive screen has been blank for a while, I connected the DIS and shows the following faults:
CAN-FFFFCAN: COMMUNICATION FAULT
SYSTEM ANALYSIS B6131_60116
Thedetermined causes of fault are as follows:
1 ***SGM-ZGM
2 *** K-CAN
3 *** INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
650012 M-ASK: malfunction
650013 CD playback faulty
650031 MalfunctionsFM/AM antenna system
650045 Permanentfailure of individual or all speakers
840002 Fault-profilecatalogue USB
84003 TeleServices: malfunction
840004 General fault at telephone in rear cabin
I have read somewhere of someone using BMW SSS / Progman or INPA to bring the CCC back to life, either programming it or updating the software. I have all these programs, but don't have the instructions. I've messed around with Progman, in the CCC menu I click "update software" and it asks me to "identify and enter the 7-digit part number of programmed GW basic control module" Where do I get this number? The part number for the CCC is longer than 7 digits.
If anyone's done it or has a clue, would be greatly appreciated.
