Ive had my brake bads ''worn'' almoust a year now.. There's no reason to change them yeat.. And yes i have new one's already in my garage ![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
So for thread started youd better be check healtservice photo and if you still have left any surface you dont need to change them yeat..

About the brake pads, as other members suggested, the only way to find out the 'remaining life of the pads' is by checking the thickness of the remaining pads. If you are an aggressive driver, I'd say go ahead and change them for safety and peace of mind - you have some time in researching the place where you want to have them replaced. By the way, it's not hard to change the brake pads. Have you considered replacing them yourself?
