Gents, it will be your rear-brake-sensor touching the rotor. The new design isn't supposed to do that anymore, but who knows.
What is the fix? Can I buy just new rear brake sensors or do I need rear pads and brake sensor(s)? Any TIS information on this?

Also, if the brake sensor was actually 'touching' the rotor, wouldn't I get some warning in iDrive saying I need new brakes. I mean, isn't that what the brake sensor is for, to tell you when to change the brakes and it triggers when it touches the rotor surface??

hahaha, I like your title - The Ultimate Squeaking Machine.

I already bought it back to the dealer twice for the squeaking problem, replaced the sensors, but squeaking is getting worse. It's really embarrassing with every traffic stop.
