Check your service menu to see if your car placed a service request. Without looking at my car, I seem to remember a sort of log that shows when these calls were placed...

Also, you guys are a lot more knowledgible than many of the people at BMW
Does anybody know at what milage the car will call the dealer for service? Can the car say you need an oil change in a few hundred miles (to get your free scheduled maintenance), or does it literally need to be all the way down to zero?
