"BMW will also extend the warranty on these vehicles to 10 years from first registration without any mileage limit. "

Is this true? If so...Yay!

I was unfortunate that i paid $500 (w/BMWNA help) instead of the $1300 list price. about 3 months ago.
I was expecting the recall with assurances from my SA that if the part is recalled, i would be reimbursed.

So i am now in the process of "getting in line".

Will advise, mike

I called my dealer and they dont have a recall assigned to the car, even though its 04-06 its possible it could be 05-06. I dont have a comfort seat, but my seat is comfortable lol, I have to go in tomorrow anyways for tail lamp so I'll ask service advisor about it!

They would probably extend the warranty only for airbags for 10 yrs. Probably not the whole car. And I hope I am wrong on this

Yes I fall into this catergory! I was hoping for a new car but a 10 year warranty should help my resale values plus my front passenger airbag "failure light" is on in the idrive

Right. Just the airbag for 10 years not the whole car.

Just got back from Long Beach BMW and the SA said i would have to wait for a letter from BMW. I know I'm one of the cars recalled because my passangers have told me that the "seat belt off" light is on while they are in the car.

I noticed the same thing a few weeks ago when I had a passenger with me.
