Hi - I am looking for a daytime driving school offered by BMW in New England, does anyone know of a location? I could sworn I read about one on this forum, but I could not find any postings in the search.

Thanks,
Bill
Join the Boston chapter of the BMWCCA its $40/yr and you get the Roundel subscription included.
They are a very active chapter and start having performance driving schools at New Hampshire International Speedway starting in March. It's a day long program for $180. I usually get 4, twenty minute on-track sessions with an instructor. In between track sessions you have classroom instruction on turn-in points, braking points, safety, track etiquette, track flags, vehicle dynamics, etc.
I've done 6 track days in the last two years, and had different instructors each time, never had a bad experience. No pressure, you drive as fast as you feel is safe for you.

I've been to both Skip Barber and the BMWCCA events and you definitely get your moneys worth at the club sessions. I'm not criticizing the Barber program, it's excellent and you learn a great deal, but for this kind of money you can't beat it.

Since you're in the area, go to both the Boston, and White Mountain Chapter websites, and check it out.

Oh, and one more thing, you are prepared to start down a road of no return? Once you get this in your blood...

I've done the two day "Performance Driving" class (which they're now calling "Car Control" school) in SC - is that the one you mean? No manuals there when I took it - just 330i automatics.
Ja, that is what I meant.
