yeah i know. I thought the inclusion of all the diesel engines would make it quite clear that it was predominantly based on BMW's plans for europe.

Yes pretty much i spend 7 months a year in the UK, 5 months in bulgaria. Cars are in bulgaria so they are LHD. i hate RHD

I am left handed and when I rented a car in the UK some years ago, I found it interesting to drive on the right side and shift with my left hand. And on top of it i wasn't familiar with where I was.

There is a (very unpopular) campaign at the moment for the UK to switch prior to the Olympics in 2012.

I can't us ever giving up this little quirk though.

I also think it's more logical cause the majority are right handed (although my son's a lefty) and in a RHD manual car this means that your strongest hand is always on the wheel.

My particularly theory is that in the states it doesn't matter cause there are so few manuals about.
