There are so many questions I want to ask the OP about how it came to fixing this out-of-pocket, but I gotta imagine that it came down to either buying a new car or repairing this one in which case I'm guessing the cost of a replacement car is more than what he expects to spend and in the process upgrade some parts while he's at it.

I don't see how you guys get 10K out of this. You CANNOT see the entire damage that's done or if it's face value etc. I do body work for myself. I weld and do fiberglass from scatch etc etc. Help the guy get parts and call it a day. I can tell you right now the paint job alone is going to be about $1500 by itself. But I don't see the entire estimate going above $5K to fix from what I see.
