Yah... I just can't see that being a $1800 plus $1500 repair at all.

howto Fix it directions: This is the TIS link I came across on these forums

Part #'s and prices: Find the part #'s on realoem.com and then scour eBay for the part. A site that I also frequent for parts is car-parts.com It is basically a collection of salvage yards. There are no pics, but many of them will provide some kind of guarantee on the parts with restocking fees if the ordered part was not wanted instead of being defective.

nah he lives in newyork there are mechanics who salivate @ a chance to do jobs like this i don't know if you are trying to repair this car to code or if you are trying to just make it look nice parts id say if you want to go oem in brooklyn there is a store i like to shop at call s.o.a.p his stuff seems really reasonably priced

STYNKLETTS ORIGINAL AUTO PART
1084 NOSTRAND AVE,
BROOKLYN, NY 11225-5158
(718) 282-7028

I also got a great cheap body and paint guy I don't his real name but they call him booboo a west indian hard working kinda man this guys eye for body work is so professional and he is one of those guys where once he quotes you a price you can talk him down significantly. in that area where he is there are also tons of body work shops in that same area

Booboo
956 e51st st
brooklyn ny 11203

6463998485

also in nyc we have places like hunts point a car collisions heaven, and the old shea stadium grounds where you can literally find a car store for everything you need to put a car together if you wanted to.

I know nothing about body work and damage but that car being an 07 seems still pretty valuable to me I'd fix it sell and move on but drive it after so much damage who knows whats in the future of that car btw i think the law requires you to inform the potential buyers of the frame damage im not to sure on that though

the cost to fix might out weigh the value!

There are so many questions I want to ask the OP about how it came to fixing this out-of-pocket, but I gotta imagine that it came down to either buying a new car or repairing this one in which case I'm guessing the cost of a replacement car is more than what he expects to spend and in the process upgrade some parts while he's at it.
