oh yeah ... and this is a double standard of mine ... DON'T TALK SHIT ABOUT FLORIDA & its hurricanes unles you live here! ...

because going through 2 weeks w/out power, and 1 & 1/2 weeks after that w/out AC SUCKS! badly ... no water ... no power other than your generator that lasts for ~ 3 nights ... no driving around because every gas station is closed, or the ones that were open had ~ a 5 hour wait ... till they ran out again.

so no tlaking shit about florida unless you are a resident there!!!

thanks

trully yours ... ME!

The 2005 models do allow BMW to find your car if stolen (if u subscribe to BMW assit) It's a new feature, as I just picked up my new 2005 last week. HOWEVER, if the battery cable is cut, BMW ASSIST will NOT be able to track your car. The only way to track your car is with a vehical location service like lojack ($700). Most insurance companies will only give you credit if you have a vechile recovery system like Lojack since it has it's own battery and is hidden in the car.

I'm now the proud owner of not only a 6er, but a gas powered generator, 6- 5 gallon gas cans, 300 feet of extension cords, a chain saw, 35 sheets of plywood and 200 tapcons. Oh yea and some siphon hose so when I can't get gas for the generator I can siphon out of the cars. Getting the 6er was easy, the other stuff required standing in ques for many long hours

Does that qualify to talk shit about Florida and Hurricanes

I hope so cause I don't need any more stuff
