as i watch this video...it enrages me.
when it comes to my car....i am very irrational. i would have been out there standing on the roof of my car w/ a steel baseball bat, a Mossberg Pump-Action shot gun and my .40 cal semi-auto handgun daring anyone to approach my personal space (ie my car) in a threatening matter so i could respond accordingly. luckily me, my temper and my car manage to avoid these situations. lol.

It's really sad to see a car destroyed like that.
However.. a few things I noticed about the article:
1) Insurance is paying the current cost of the car, not what it costs to replace it.
.. THIS IS HOW ALL INSURANCE WORKS. If they're doing anything past that (and you don't have gap insurance), then they're doing it out of the kindness of their non-existent hearts.
2) She's taking a month off of work to deal with the stress of owing a bunch of money.
.. WTF? I can understand maybe taking a week or maybe two to have to deal with paperwork/legal stuff/insurance/etc. But a month to deal with stress of the situation? That's a load of crap imo.

yea, that month off portion of the article threw me for a loop. but then again, it was an M5 so maybe she has money like that to take a month off....and is only boo-hooing because she doesnt think its fair to pay the gap difference and is appealing to the public to leverage the ins co to pay the difference... who knows....

What "real" men could idly stand by and watch that poor woman attempt to protect her property? Will some trustworthy person on this site set up a fund so I can contribute the first $100.00 ?
