i don't like the look of the tinted windows, it looks like a kind of mafia style... and in darker days i can have more light ...

Mostly for children, they sit lower in the sit than an adult and are more likely to suffer from sun in the eyes.

They definitely keep the car cooler in summer. It's a nice option that I use a lot.

Does'nt window tint do the same thing

Of course depends on the darkness of the tint. If you can go very dark, yes tinting will accomplish the same thing, but in my area, I can't go dark enough. The ceramic tint I have definitely cuts the heat and some of the light, but not enough. Also depends on where you live. Here in the southern US, it gets very hot with strong sunlight most days. In a more temperate area, further north, I could see how you could maybe get by with just a good dark tint.

I was just thinking the same thing Jimbo. You beat me to it.
Now that my little ones are spending more time in my car, I wish I would have gotten them.

BTW, anyone know of a good leather cleaner??? :'(

I don't think you can retrofit them.

I also find them very useful for heat reduction, but the main reason I find them so useful is that w/ two small children, they are very effective at keeping the glare down for them.? And they are definitely more attractive than any variety you can buy, especially something w/ Barney or some Disney character on them.
