BMW betrayal: I cheated and garaged her!!
#31
I can understand the desire for a softer more relaxing ride. I've done it myself, switched between BMW and Merc a few times. The Merc makes me more relaxed and I imagine lower heart-rate and is a smoother calming ride. The BMW is a more enthusiastic exciting thrill ride that tends to make you want to drive that bit more aggressive. While owning one, there's a bit of hankering/lust for the other. While owning a Merc, I tended to test drive BMWs as my prospective next car, and vice versa while owning a BMW I tended to test drive Mercs. The Audi and the Porsche, well I don't know how they fit into it, but it was soon back to the BMW vs Merc long-running battle.
