Sure, japanese cars are riddled with gadgets because they have to be able to sell their utterly boring cars somehow. Anyhow, I would think that you buy a BMW because you love to drive, not because it comes with twice as many cup holders.
I agree!

[US Customers do not have many choices as Euro do( models, colors, accessories, options)
[/quote]
therefore you pay say 40k $ for a 528 whereas it costs 120k or more overhere in europe....
wanna swap?

Aqkhan6us' point is pretty clear. Whether or not you agree with it, it isn't particularly clever to pick on a poster who may not be speaking his or her native language because of their use of language.

BMW cars (base, options, service, accessories) are expensive PERIOD whether U they are called EXECUTIVE cars, BENCHMARK car, REFERENCE car....There is no doubt BMWs are excellent and I prefered BMW over other German autos. The 528xi will be my first BMW because of reports, news( Changed my mind from X3 to E60), Hope I will switch and have all BMWs.
There are some features they can keep as STD. to be called as EXECUTIVE CLASS
Have Honda accord(188,000 miles) still runs good and Acura MDX(90,000 miles). Most of us love Japanese Electronics!

aghkhan6us, if you want a driving experience then you're right on the money to choose BMW, doesn't matter if they're called executive cars, luxury cars, whatever; with a BMW you'll love the drive. But if you want gadgets, and extra options, you'd better stick with a jap car. I think that BMW doesn't offer that many options or doesn't it offer it as standard allows them to have exclusivity, because you paying the high price is enough for what they're giving you, an UNBEATABLE driving experience (in its own class range). And if you want more options to make it even more "gadgety" you gotta pay more over that. Its simple for me. Hope you understand what I'm saying. And dont let these guys give you a hard time on language, you'll catch on.
