I thought about that combo myself but I was unsure of what color the rear deck would be. I'm not sure I would like it if the rear deck was also beige. But if it matched the headliner then - ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)

My story is that I found my car on the used website in a different city (Windsor, Ont). I called my local (Toronto) dealer about it and described the colour (Orient Blue exterior with Auburn interior). My sales guy was a little new and thought the audurn was on every panel. He was sufficiently worried that - before I drove 4 hours to check out the car - he had me come to his dealership and then drove us to his storage lot to see a new car with audurn. We were all reliefed (and very impressed) to see that the auburn is artfully only on a few panels.
Like "highway" a few posts back, the colour of the car and the auburn interior get the most compliments. People really seem to like the "different" colour and the way it complements to black interior panels and blue exterior.
I love the auburn. Almost as much as I like driving the car.

My 550 sport is titanium gray. I went with the black NASCA leather and an anthracite headliner. This combination makes the car look and feel very rich. Obviously one would need to like a dark interior. I find a black interior stands the test of time better than any other.
