Hi guys ,
Beige,Black and Auburn are the prime interior choices and all of them go well with any color of E60.I have the beige interior for my E60 which I find nice indeed. The only hitch is it gets dirty very soon. But going by the forum, most of the choices are for black I guess. Also I find Auburn very trendy and somewhat contemporary.Bit confused in the sense which looks and feels the best.I know its a personal choice. But still ,please put in your comments as to which is the best choice of yours. For my future buy,it will definitley help.
cheers

Ive got Individual extended Champagne leather (alot lighter than the normal beige) in mine and it is absolutely stunning IMO.
Also, since the leather has a lot finer pattern than the regular leather it seems to wipe clean alot easier too.

know its a personal choice. But still ,please put in your comments as to which is the best choice of yours.
I currently prefer beige as I find it gives a lightness and feeling of space to the interior and looks so luxurious. We have lots of grey days in the winter (and summer) here and I find the beige always feels warm and inviting. It looks fab with a dark colour car, doesn't look as good with silvers etc.
I don't find beige leather difficult to keep clean at all. Just use a good leather cleaner/conditioner every few months (I use the BMW one). Here most people fit black velour mats with beige as they are more practical in wet weather.
Black can look killer with brushed metal/AluCube trim. However, it can sometimes look dirtier than beige leather as dust will show on it much more easily and if this dust gets into the stitching it is hard to remove.
Overall, I like black but prefer beige (on the E60 at least).
In the end it's your choice...

All the high end luxury cars i have seen feature beige in different shades than any other color.Going by that beige looks to be the accepted choice of interior when it comes to class and elegance.

Could not have put it better. Are you sure we are not driving the same car?
I currently drive an E90 Sapphire Black/Beige/Walnut and will probably stick to that combination if/when I change to an E60 post-facelift. Pretty boring of me I suppose but I just love that combination on BMWs.
A few years ago all I wanted in a car was silver with black leather and metal but I was younger then ;-)

Black is my favorite. Beige is very nice but does show dirt. Auburn...stunning but not sure I would enjoy it "the morning after".
