Battery won't keep charge
My battery died about three weeks ago due to me leaving the key in the on position while my amps were on. I got a jump and it was fine for a week or 2 (I drive it everyday). Suddenly one day it just decided not to start. I charged the battery for about a day and it fired right up and ran fine for a week till yesterday. As I was driving I got a ABS light and then everything started lighting up warnings...(steering wheel, dynamic drive... Etc) I went straight home. I turned it off and tried to restart it and dead. I threw the charger back on it and tried it just now....drove around and it's fine again. I never got a charging error or warning at any point saying there was an issue with the battery or alternator. Any ideas?....

Unfortunately, you started the cycle of charge/discharge. If the battery is causing these problems, I would get a new one. If the battery is less than a year old you may have other problems but battery sounds most likely.

I have a CTEK charger that does a desulphate/conditioning cycle before the charging. I am not sure of the claim to be able to "fix" some battery issues, but it appears to keep my battery working, even on my other car which is 30 years old and the battery on that is a cheap battery that's been on there for 10 years now. It might be able to rescusitate your old battery.
