Great Car! I love mine more every day!
SMG is wonderful (coming from a manual car driver). Just remember: Always Push The Sport Button and Life is Good!

i am very happy with my turtle 525. I have never been in a 530 nor 545. So i have nothing to compare it.
But overall, I love the quiet and confy of the 525i. SPecially with 16 in to avoid road noise.
my 2 cents

Joe, I guarantee you that you will not leave home without it.
This is the finest most wonderful driving experience ever. Plenty of room, performance, and handling. Mine has been mechanically perfect for five months. Had a gas cap warning that fixed itself in a tank or two and had a window warning today, but it also fixed itself and if it returns, the fellows in this forum have already armed me with the remedy.
I promise you I will never tire of this car. When I trade it, it will be for the same reason that I made the last trade - BMW has produced a better five. So, to heck with RF and all of the naysayers. Enjoy your new car with the confidence that it is an even greater car than your E39.

I regret not having the SMG model. Other than that -
