Has any one noticed that most people still looks at your car even though the model is a few years old. Has any one caught some people looking close at there car

This afternoon actually. Had a guy peering into the windows as I was walking back to it. I deactivated the alarm which made him jump a bit...but still say 'Nice car, mate'.
It's true the E60 has just got prescence.

I tell you what makes me smile when I look at my e60, my friend, who has an 05 e320 MB fully loaded, asks me at least once a day with a smile on his face, Hey Frank.....want to trade cars.
It just lights up my face,

I think the eye brow lights are one of the coolest looking parts of the car.? I could see traditionalists not liking that part, but c'mon.? We have the absolute coolest headlights of almost any car on the road.? The butt could use some work, but hey, most of us can say that too.?

funny how it is so difficult to get used to the attention. i usually avoid driving my car on site to jobs, but on the odd occasion, my e60 never fails to catch attention and became the talk of the party.
the other day my M5buddy was driving an e60 loaner from the dealer, during that time never had he got so much compliments, staring glances and attention. not even to his super M5.
he mentioned the idrive was quick and simple, unlike any of the negative publicity earlier. yet still he adds its softer than his M5 (its a base 525i BTW) and still cannot get used to the look, but its growing on him...his wife on the other hand has nothing but praises.
even after 15 months i still look forward to drive my car and glance at it after i park.
i love it from every angle, like i discovered that curve on the top edge of the trunk which protrudes slightly outwards? gorgeous touch. i wonder how long did bangle pondered on this small bit of his design?
i always nod and acknowledge on every e60 driver i met.
