I'm picking up my ED 530i on june 17 and I learned that all the new ones come with the same wood trim from the dash also now on the door handles on all 'premium' configurations. I actually prefer the ones that have the metal inserts for the door handles that were on the first few months production units, but they don't allow that as an option for US models anymore. They are the ones that were installed with the wood trim on dash/premium packages.

My wood trim will be anthracite/maple. I had heard that most people preferred the wood, I guess I'm not in the majority. My interior is the auburn leather and the handles are like these (both front and rear doors):
